ACTIVE

Surgeons with an unrestricted license to practice surgery in their state, province, or country or may be in government service not requiring licensure.

STUDENT

A student in a medical school program granting either a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree which is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree which is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation, or, if the student attends a medical school outside of the United States (or outside of the United States or Canada if in an MD degree program).
ACTIVE WORLD PARTNER

Surgeons with unrestricted license to practice surgery and current membership in a World Partner Society is required.

A physician who has been an active member of the organization in good standing and who has retired from professional activity or has become permanently disabled shall be eligible to become a retired member by application to AHS.
