Professor Neil Smart Transatlantic Trainee Award

This prestigious award honors Professor Neil Smart, a renowned surgeon, educator, and international leader in hernia surgery. A respected voice across continents, Professor Smart has been instrumental in shaping modern abdominal wall repair and forging strong ties between the American and British Hernia Societies. In recognition of his legacy, the award supports a British Hernia Society trainee to attend the AHS Annual Meeting. Eligible applicants may apply within the abstract submission process.
