Abstract Submissions

The abstract submission site for the 2022 AHS Annual Meeting is NOW CLOSED! The submission deadline was Monday, May 16, 2022.

The mission of the American Hernia Society (AHS) is to advance the science and treatment of hernia. We look forward to your contribution to the science and improvement of the practice of hernia surgery!

Abstract Submission Steps

  • Log in using your AHS credentials
  • If you don't have an account, create it by clicking "Create New Account" and completing the process
  • Then proceed with the abstract submission
  • If your co-authors do not have AHS credentials, they will need to create an account before they can be added

It is important that all co-authors have AHS accounts to expedite the process. Submitters will need the AHS account information of all co-authors to begin the submission process. In accordance with the ACCME guidelines, all disclosures will need to be completed to progress in the submission process. Please allow yourself enough time to have all authors submit their disclosures. Submitting last minute could render your abstract incomplete and you could miss the deadline.
